Terms and Conditions

All bookings are made and accepted in accordance with the following terms and conditions which form the guideline of your contract with Scottish-Golf Tours.com

All Golf Tours/VIP Tours/Golf Breaks/ Coaching Breaks and Golf Schools are subject to availibility.

1. Booking confirmation and deposit

The person making the booking is responsible to Scottish-Golf Tours.com for all payments in respect of the booking. In the event of a group booking the person who made the booking on behalf of the group is responsible for all payments. Once the chosen tour is booked a booking reference number will be allocated and a deposit of 30% of the total cost will be required. From this point a contract exist between us.

2. Payment and final balance

*Final payment of the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your tour. If the payment is not received by the due date Scottish-Golf Tours.com reserves the right to cancel your booking in its entirety. In such an event 30% of the total Tour cost will not be refunded. Please note: final payment date will appear on invoice as a reminder. Any tours booked less than 8 weeks prior to commencement, payment in full is required. *Except Ryder Cup packages - payment schedule details will be detailed on your invoice.

3. Cancellation charges

What you will need to pay if you cancel
More than 60 days before arrival - 30% of total cost
30-60 days before arrival - 50% of total cost
30 days or less before arrival - 100% of total costs

4. Changes by Scottish-Golf Tours.com

In the unlikely event that Scottish-Golf Tours.com has to cancel any tour, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full within 14 days

5. Changes to your bookings

We will endeavour to accommodate any changes you wish to make up to 8 weeks prior to arrival. All changes must be advised in writing to Scottish-Golf Tours.com quoting the booking reference number. Changes to your booking will be subject to an administration fee of £50 each. Any alterations within 8 weeks of your arrival will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges as shown in section 3 will apply.

6. Force majeure

Scottish-Golf Tours.com will not be liable for additional expenses incurred through travel delay, acts of god, force majeure or events beyond our control. Force majeure is unusual and unforseeable circumstances beyond our control such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.

7. Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover yourself in the event of cancellation, damage or lost of luggage, personal injury, accident or illness.

8. Complaints

If you have any complaint about your tour, please inform your Scottish-Golf Tours.com Rep or phone the office immediately. Most matters can be easily resolved whilst you are on the Tour when your EGGS Rep, who is authorised to deal fully with any complaint, can see and understand the exact nature of any problems you have. In the unlikely event that matters cannot be resolved to your satisfaction on Tour, you must follow up by writing to our Customer Services Department at: Scottish-Golf Tours.com, 6 Coillesdene Terrace, Edinburgh EH15 2JN, within 28 days of returning from your Tour. Further consideration will be given to the terms of complaints, however no such consideration will be given in respect of claims that we receive after that date.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the Law of Scotland.
