Prior to my first visit to Eric its fair to say my game was in freefall.   Although a single figure handicap player I had lost all confidence and my swing was all over the place. I was plagued by inconsistency even though I had taken a number of lessons elsewhere. I decided to vist Eric after seeing the difference he had made to my wifes game which had improved dramatically. After a few visits and undoubtedly some hard work on the range I am enjoying my golf more than ever and playing with a greater consistency. I have found that one of the real benefits with Eric is being able to see your swing on video where you can see your faults but also the good points in your swing. There is no doubt that Eric is a very talented teaching golf professional and Kay and I fully intend to see him for the forseeable future. Eric -                                                                                     Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 Day School. Never thought it was possible to pack so much in. The facilities at Craigielaw are magnificant! Your teaching method is terrific. It is scary to see the video but very beneficial. I took four days tuition with Eric. His eye for what needed to change in my swing was very impressive - and confirmed later by the video! He also had the knack of finding the drill or swing thought to help me make those changes - I was amazed at how quickly he could get me striking the ball well with my re-built swing. When I started my lessons with Eric I was a frustrated 11 handicap golfer who could play great one day and awful the next. Like all golfers I was seeking consistency. My first couple of lessons with Eric were spent getting my grip correct and my swing on the right plane. Eric supplies you with a DVD at the end of every lesson and these are invaluable in charting your own progress. Having decided take up golf in my mid to late 40's the experience has been hugely frustrating and more than a little embarrassing. I decided to take lessons from Eric on the basis of his website and his prompt reply to my query. To date we have had three lessons. The first two concentrating on the swing and building up confidence, whilst the latter (which was for a whole day) developed on the previous lessons and moved onto the short game and some bunker work. In this short period of time he has taken an awkward player into someone who has a lot more confidence, positive outlook and general capability. My whole approch to the game is now at a much more elevated and refined level. Unlike other golf professionals that I have used Eric puts real emphasis on the practice of the swing so a large number of balls are not hit in a lesson and therefore have to be earned. You will be more than rewarded by the results, and on this basis I would have no hesitation in recommending Eric to beginner or seasoned golfer who wants to improve his or her technique and style. He is a real find.
